This is not good news, soon the entire world may be under one rule, it's also prophecised in the bible, check out this before you read the article below it..........
Daniel, Chapter 2, presents the dream of Babylon’s King Nebuchadnezzar, which provides the basis for our understanding history’s final system of government. Daniel interprets Nebuchadnezzar's dream which reveals that the fifth and final world empire would be an extension of the fourth empire - Rome. Passages in Daniel 7:7-8 and Revelation 13:1 describe a beast with ten horns. The prophets Daniel and John apparently saw the same beast in their visions, the beast symbolizing ten heads of ten kingdoms. It is this number of 10 that we want to keep a close eye on.
We will continue to monitor the development of world superpower emerging from Europe and the region of the former Roman Empire.. The EU would seem to be a leading candidate but the number 10 will have to somehow be reconciled.
It is from this Revived Roman Empire that the man we call the Antichrist emerges.
“And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate” (Dan. 9:26-27).
This all-encompassing prophecy foretells plainly that the final world ruler, Antichrist, will rise out of the Roman Empire. Jerusalem and the Temple were destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD under the leadership of Roman General Titus. The future Roman leader (“the prince that shall come”) is prophesied to be a dictator like no other in history.
We will continue to watch for a single man to emerge as the leader of a 10 nation confederacy that somehow relates to the empire of Ancient Rome. There are many prophecies that relate to the identity of the Antichrist and this is but one of them.
A Revived Roman Empire?
The EU's Big Brother
The European Union is building its own network of spy satellites, allowing Brussels to ensure nations and private individuals are obeying its policies. The multibillion-dollar system, known as Global Monitoring for Environment and Security, should be up and running by 2010, a commission spokesman said. A commission statement also acknowledged that GMES would play a key role in the "implementation, review and monitoring of EU policies," including watching for agriculture and fisheries fraud and boosting "internal security." In addition, officials hope GMES will support the European Union's first steps toward becoming a military power. It will "provide authorities with necessary elements for a European Security and Defense Policy," the commission said.
EU looks to build military power to back up foreign policy
The initiatives from the newly-created European Defence Agency represent the EU's first step in military research and development. They are aimed at transforming the EU from being solely a political power, in charge of policies such as agriculture and trade, to a military one, capable of sending troops around the world to enforce a foreign policy agreed by its member states.
France secretly upgrades capacity of nuclear arsenal
France has secretly modified its nuclear arsenal to increase the strike range and accuracy of its weapons. The move comes weeks after President Jacques Chirac warned that states which threatened the country could face the "ultimate warning" of a nuclear retaliation.
