Hi all,
Regarding the speed of light, I know that you might bring up the inflationary expantion model, and that energy is absorbed into matter once C (186,000 MPS) is achieved, but I simplified the argument for brevity’s sake. If you think the argument through, it is still valid and it is always fun hearing the argument out right or wrong. As far as the other two contradictions (all three in fact) -- I could really use your help. If a lack of contradiction is the tenant you follow in your quest for the truth. I have three huge contradictions that are driving me nuts and would like to hear what you might think about them.
Contradiction 1 Light – Are we moving backward in time?
Although arguing with Einstein tends to scare people off, the argument is a rather simple one. If you look up at the night sky, most people are smart enough to realize that the light coming from the stars is millions of years old and that you are effectively looking backward in time. Now simply apply that FACT to your room. The light bouncing off your wall is a few nanoseconds old by the time it reaches your eye. Get up and walk over to your wall and turn to look back at your chair – oh dear. Can you see a problem with this picture?
Contradiction 2 The horizon problem – How old are we (the universe)?
The Keck telescopes in Hawaii are reported to be able to see out to a distance of 13 billion light years IN ANY DIRECTION LOL. 13 billion (to the north) + 13 billion (to the south) = 26 billion. Oh my god, Big bang cosmologists have only worked the universe out to be no more then twenty billion years old. nuts.
Contradiction 3 population – Where we seeded by others?
Let’s say that creation theory is correct (Darwin’s theory will only serve to make my argument more solid). If the age of the planet Earth is 4.5 billion years old and the population is 6.5 billion then we have yet another issue.
If Adam is one person, and Eve is another, we have two people. For Earth’s population to grow these two people need to have at least three children otherwise, the population will either shrink or at best stabilize. Now things get confusing because, in order for the population to grow you would need a net increase EVERY YEAR (not every generation) for all of the 4.5 billion years that the Earth has been in existence and we still go over budget by two billion people let alone the deaths due to wild animals, war, disease, etc.
What is going on here?
