Ok, this topic was started in the ' Starseeds-What are Starseeds?' Thread, I decided to begin a new thread just on this topic alone. Here is how it began.......Please add your idea, of what darkness represents. Trinity
Trinity:
Yeh, you know you're right, light workers do the work of God and dark workers do their work for Satan right?
Egypt:
now that im not sure......alot of people like to assume that -but there are many that are dark workers that have the same love for God as we do -they just have different views--totally different views
they love God and feel an understanding towards Lucifer
alot of dark workers have a dark way of helping us see new aspects of ourselves -they have motives that might seem mean but in actuallity they feel they are helping
this is something that we should probably explore more on--we all have dark aspects of ourselves-and what that means is hidden aspects -it doesnt mean evil aspects
bringing our own darkness to light -healing our inner pains-pains that we hide from the world our emotions that we hide from the world
whats your take on it Trinity?
Trinity:
Ok, well....... I see there are variants of what we call 'Dark' I guess.
I see false preachers as being dark, doing the work of Satan, that is.... those that take on cult beliefs and teaching it.
I don't think that varying religions are necessarily dark, specifically religions that do honor Christ. I think that these religions eg. such as the belief in Allah/Islamic are very just and true, they are as real as Christianity but somewhat improvised solely because of their culture.
I don't think that beliefs such as Hinduism or Buddhism etc are dark, they all have thier benefits, they work on peace and divinity also and eradicating darkness, but I do believe that they are misguided especially when it comes to worshipping more than one God ( Hinduism is a good example of that). I don't think that this represents evil in any way, but that other beliefs also serve their purpose, however in my own opinion, and this is only my own belief ok......that it is essential to follow the teachings of God and Christ.
What I see as being dark are those that practise black magic, those that use powers to alter minds, walk into dreams, dabble in mind altering ideals and manipulation.
Now sometimes, I see that there are those from say....Christian faiths that I would regard as being dark, manipulating etc. simply becuase they are using their religion to cover up and misguide people, they have other agenas or are not true to waht they teach.
I see that belonging to a religion means that we need to give that belief our 100% for us to be true to it, we cannot preach two very compromising belief systems which is what alot of new agers are currently doing, this is what I see as the forces of darkness affecting religion/beliefs, taking away the purity of a belief and using it, sugar coating it, making it seem Holy and using it to put forward something that is not of Christ.....again this is just my opinion.
As far as having dark aspects ourselves, well I agree, we are all human, our job is to void out that dark/ Satanic side, lol I know that sounds very evil, but the impurities in us are used by Satan to his advantage to pull us away from Christ, our "mission as lightworkers:........To show Satan that he does not live in us !
Truly you are right, in bringing our darkness to the surface, facing it front on and voiding it from our lives, healing it, very good concept egypt, I like that take you have on darkness, for we can't deny it lies within us waiting to rear its ugly head at any given moment, God against Evil as I see it, our task is to fight that and therefore fight for the good, and glory of God in all of humanity as a whole.
I 100% believe that any evil that we have is not only Satan at work, but is a direct result of inheritance from our anscestors, like passing on a virus, although we are individual, I see that w e carry what our anscestors have and so should that not make dark traits exempt ? Again our work is to eradicate that from each generation, bring us back to Christ.
Well, I hope my opinion serves well.
Love ya, Trinity
