what sticks out the most to you in the book ecclesiastes? the reason i ask and what inspired this is i have only had 2 biblical dreams my whole life -the second one i had was last night--i cant really remember all the details but what i can remember is yelling at my hubby saying "you made me give up my ecclesiastes!!" so needless to say i picked up my bible this morning(no i have not even come close to reading the whole bible) and began reading in Ecclesiastes- so far i have read the first 4 chapters waiting for something to jump out at me so again my question-what sticks out to you in the book of Ecclesiastes?

Ecclesiastes Means preacher (one who speaks the word of God). I myself am a minister (one who acts Christ like and preforms godly works). Perhaps it is enough to have rememberd the word.

Well, that is for you to know, Really. I could say " HAAAAaaaa The one devine God has given it onto me that...blah blah blah...".
Truthfully, I honestly do not give a Skatah (Greek, figure it out, or don't ask). All I'm saying is that the word Ecclesiastes itself seems to mean something (at least to you).
Is that not a good place to start -- that is asking YOURSELF what the Greek word for preacher means to you and why?

It has been said, that Jesus said "make no law such as the Law giver <Jahova presumably>, lest you be bound by it!". I have come to realize through my own experience, that this is in fact true if you live a richous life. Anything I say, while I am in the spirit, does in fact come true, and it feeds on itself -- it grows. This is why I am sometimes very careful about how I define myself.
Remember, to be richous is not in what you DO, it is in what you DON'T DO!!.........

dont be lead by temptation this makes alot of sense and really applies in my life right now as in having to do with things that ive had trouble letting go of but im working on that -instead of resentment there is more appreciation for unanswered prayers which were in fact answered in a different and much better way thank you (((hugs)))

Bless you Egypt, You are right of course. Many people ask "What would Jesus do". That is realy clever and , to me, smaks of the Demiurge (Gnostic consept and very deep, Just say Satin for now). I simply live my life with a single question "Relitive to what?". It has the same meaning for simple minded folk, but it is much more powerful to anyone who takes the time to THINK about it.
